I never thought I'd have a day like today! Things have changed this year in a good way.
This month I turn 52. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have one of the best years ever.
Today started with me going on a walk/run for 55 minutes. Now I was doing a C25K and I enjoyed it then I got distracted. Well this week I'm back to running and today it was effortless. My breathing was easy and I was just enjoying every step. I never thought I'd ever say that. I ran more today than I ever have.
Oh before the walk/run I stepped on the scale because tomorrow is my weekly weigh in and I was curious to see where I am at. Well today was the lowest I've been in a long time :)
After a fantastic taco salad lunch the hubs and I went out on an hours bike ride.
I feel so strong physically right now.
I do think doing the different workouts has been a huge help. Mixing things up is good for me.
Breakfast: omelet, cheese, berries Simply Filing
Lunch: taco salad with meatless crumbles, ff refried beans, olives and light cheese Simply Filling +3pp
Dinner: mini turkey stuffing meatloaf, smashed potatoes, kale and cherry tomatoes Simply Filling +4pp
