Today's saying: Don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle!! Sparkle on!!
I'm changing my weigh in day back to Tuesdays, not because it's been a bad week it hasn't. It's actually been a great week. I changed because I will be going back to the Tuesday meetings for accountability. It works for me. It also gets confusing if I have 2 different weigh in days.
So Tuesday I'll post my loss/gain for the week.
Julie has set a goal for herself this week of doing 10,000 steps a day! I'm going to join her and try for the same thing.
To start off the week on a positive note I went out on a nice walk.
Came home and then Ralph and I went to the mall today to looks at some patio tables. I wanted to find a small one with 2 chairs to replace the rusty ones we have. We also need to replace the bbq because the parts we need would cost almost as much as a small new one!
Today's nosh:
Breakfast: oatmeal with walnuts, banana, a few dark chocolate chips and 5% cream for coffee 6 points (I thought the box for the chocolate chips was pretty interesting)
Lunch: mango curry quinoa (I put chopped mango in rather than using mango chutney), yogurt and raspberries 5 points
Snack: cheese stick 2 pts
Dinner: roast chicken, brussels sprouts, 1 tsp olive oil, low sodium gravy, baked fries 7 points
After dinner: glass of wine 7 points
Total points used: 27
Weekly points used: 1
Weekly point balance: 40
Water: 9 cups
Exercise: 45 minute walk
Steps etc: as of 5:50 pm 10,582 Yep goal is done for today :

Thanks for joining me. It'll be a lot of work to get it in with the extra routes I have this week but will do my best. Good luck with you steps.
I love you dinner, YUM!!! I'm hungry so need to figure out something shortly.
Blessings my friend!
Did you get those cocoa chips at a Loblaws type store? The packing looks familiar, but I didn't see a brand. I am so copying your ideas!
I actually bought them on the reduced shelf in Zehrs ;) They're a president's choice item.
Oh so lovely your meals are! I remembered how much I like brussel sprouts. Guess what I am gonna buy?
Great saying for the day!
Good to see you Bluezy!
Anyway you look at it, 10,000 steps or 5 miles worth of walking in one day, that is fantastic! I can't wait until I work my way up to that
Love the quote, love the snow pictures and love your menu. Have a great day Suzi!!!
